Friday

·         District Track Meet @ Chehalis, bus leaves @ 1:20, release @ 1:05

·         JH Cheer practice @ 3:30 in the Multi

·         JH Movie night in the library @ 6pm

 

Saturday

·         Fastpitch vs PWV @ Centralia, game @ 10am

·         Odd Fellows Cemetary Clean-up 9:30-noon. Bring your gloves & clippers –lunch will be provided

 

 

STUDENT INFORMATION

 

1.     JH Movie night is tonight starting @ 6pm.  Admission is $3 and popcorn will also be available for purchase.

2.     All current 8-11 graders interested in playing football next year - please attend a meeting on Tuesday, May 23 at 3:00 in Mr. Sanchez's room. Summer lifting and practices will be on the agenda.

3.       Congratulations to the newest members of the National Honor Society! The following students were inducted into the club at a ceremony last night: Ariana Arriaga, Kallie Ashley, Fatima Delgado, Emily Howell, Felix Johnson, Berklee Morley, Summer Stigall, and Jaron Xayabandith.

4.     There will be a National Honor Society officers' meeting Monday, May 22, at lunch in the library.

5.     There will be a National Honor Society meeting for all members Monday, May 22, at 3:00 in the library.

6.     Are you interested in becoming a Class officer?  It is now time for 8th – 11th graders to sign up to run. To sign up you must have a minimum of 2.75 cumulative GPA and good citizenship.  You have until May 26 to declare your intentions by signing up in the office.

7.     If you are in 6th or 7th grade and want to try out for JH Cheer, make sure and sign up in the school office by Wednesday, May 24 @ 3:15. 

8.     Any incoming 9-12 graders interested in Fire Science, Culinary Arts, Forestry, Cosmetology, Photography, Health Care and Automotive and would like to attend summer sessions in Aberdeen at the Twin Harbors Skill Center spots are filling up fast!  See Mrs. Lynch with questions.

9.     Don’t forget to turn in your slip if you made up your student led conference.

10.  PRIDE Club Meeting 5/26 during lunch in the library. 

 

 

 

SENIORS:

1.     Community Service Opportunity at the local Timberland Library. See Kat for more information. Remember you need 30 hours of community service to graduate!

2.     Don't forget to complete your High School and Beyond plans through Skyward before June 2nd.  See Mrs. Lynch's email for instructions or see her in person for help.

3.     Senior Decision Day is Back!  Seniors, we will celebrate you in an assembly on May 23rd during 6th period.  Make sure to fill out some information about you in the google form sent by Mrs Lynch!

4.     Graduation Rose ceremony: Roses will be $3/each. The maximum you can order is 5.  The sign-up sheet is in the office - pay when you sign up.
