·         JH ASB meeting @ 8:05 in the library

·         HS WIDA testing 2nd & 3rd 

·         JH WIDA testing 5th & 6th 

·         JH Track @ home

·         Soccer vs Elma @ SB, game @ 7:00

 

Thursday

·         HS ASB meeting @ 8:10 in Mr Nelson's office

·         9th & 10th graders- WIDA testing 2nd & 3rd

·         Kahoot in the library at lunch

·         JH WIDA testing 5th & 6th 

·         Softball vs Winlock, game @ 3:00, release @ 1:45

·         HS Track @ home, field events start @ 4:00/ running events 4:30

 

Friday

·         11th & 12th graders -WIDA testing 2nd & 3rd 

·         Kahoot in the library at lunch

·         Soccer @ Tenino, bus leaves @ 3:30

 

 

STUDENT INFORMATION

 

1.     Drug and Alcohol Fact of the day: Nearly 1 in 14 people over the age of 12 in the US have an alcohol or drug use disorder.

       Alcohol and other drug use during the teen years can interfere with normal brain development and increase the risk of developing a use disorder

•       47% of children who begin drinking before age 14 develop an alcohol use disorder at some point in their lives.

2.     Seniors planning on attending GHC in the fall, and students that are planning on attending Running Start next year, there will be college placement testing on March 30th, 1pm in room 270.  Please bring your chromebooks or laptops.  You must also apply to GHC before taking the placement test. There will be a sign up in the office, see Mrs Lynch with any questions.

3.     Crisis Support Network is sponsoring a coloring contest. The coloring sheets can be picked up in the office and are due back by April 8th.  Everyone who completes a picture will receive a sucker.

4.     If you need community service hours, there is an opportunity to help out with a 92 year old's birthday party on Saturday, May 7th.  Mr. Nelson will be very generous with community service hours for this one.  Please let Susie, Theresa, or Mr. Nelson know if you're interested.
