STUDENT INFORMATION

1.     Congratulations to the JH football team on their first win last night!

2.     Chromebooks and chargers borrowed from the office cart: Some students have been very forgetful returning them at the end of the day.  If this continues, students will have to start signing them out. So PLEASE start returning them!

3.     Listen to this! Yearbooks will be delivered before school is out, and we'll have the opportunity to sign each other's yearbooks, making our yearbooks even more special! Order forms are in the office and have information for ordering online or with the paper form.

4.     Our school 7-12 grades is participating in the Washington State Healthy Youth Survey Oct 27th during advisory.  The survey includes questions related to health risks and protective factors and access to school based services.  The results from the survey are used by school, communities and state agencies to provide services to students.  Participation is voluntary and all students' answers are anonymous.  See Mrs Lynch with any concerns

5.     There will be a meeting for Honor Society officers on Tuesday, October 26th during lunch in the library

6.     Junior class meeting in the BIG gym. Tuesday October 26th. 3:00pm.

Upcoming Events:

7.     GEAR UP Family night Tuesday Oct 26th 6pm-7pm in the South Bend School Library.

8.     The Jr. High ASB is holding a movie night for the junior high, Tuesday, October 26th at 7 pm! Come enjoy a fun movie and some popcorn in the elementary cafeteria! Everyone is welcome to wear pajamas to the event. See you there!

Community Service:

9.     There will be community service opportunities available to high students on Thursday evening and Friday evening, October 28th and 29th. Students are needed to decorate the Haunted Horse Barn on the Menlo Fairgrounds Thursday evening and to scare people in the Barn Friday evening. Come earn some community service hours with your creativity or ability to frighten. If you are interested, please email Justin Yi at justin.yi@student.southbendschools.org.

10.  Do you still need community service?  Would you like to get some valuable work experience?  Pennywise Thrift Store in Raymond is looking for volunteers to help in the store!  See Mrs Lynch for more information

Seniors:

1.     Baby pictures need to be emailed or turned into Mr. Bale, by December 1st. If they are submitting hard copies, make sure they are in an envelope with the senior’s name on it.

Final senior pictures need to be in by March 18th, also turned into Mr. Bale. THE SOONER THE BETTER!
